Leading healthcare supplies company, DP Medical Systems, has announced its expansion with the opening of a second UK office.
The firm, which has its head office in Chessington, Surrey, has now established a base in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
The new office will be home to at least four permanent members of staff and a dedicated workshop so any repairs can be conducted on site removing the need for them to always be sent to the Surrey base.
The news comes off the back of recent additions to the DP Medical team including to the software department, sales team, a sales and service rep in Ireland and a new service and contracts manager.
Rob Atkinson, managing director of DP Medical Systems, said: “In 2018 we enjoyed a record high turnover as well as recording double digit growth for the third consecutive year. Each division of the company, dental, hospital and services, has also grown substantially and we don’t plan on stopping there so creating another hub in the UK is an essential part of our growth forecasts.
“We are really pleased to be opening our new office in Stockport which will give us another option when it comes to where staff can be based from and improve the customer experience for those based away from the south of England. This decision really reflects the growth and development we have experienced across the UK, as well as in Ireland, recently.”
“We’ve also welcomed a number of new people to our team recently and are particularly excited about expanding the service side of business with the appointment of Jacqui McKenzie as our new service and contracts manager. She will be working to develop our service division which is a key focus for our business in 2020 as we look to offer more extensive packages to the healthcare sector with regard to the servicing and maintenance of vital hospital equipment.
