Here at DP Medical, we’re committed to creating meaningful social value and having a positive impact on the people, communities and environments we work within.

From fundraising challenges to product donations, our team has been dedicated to supporting causes across the UK and Ireland, giving back to others since we were founded more than 30 years ago.  

We’re also proud holders of both ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and 14001 (Environmental Management System), ensuring we are creating the right conditions to foster trust, ethical leadership and environmental responsibility in everything we do.

Our community

As a trusted supplier of medical innovations across ENT, dental, gynaecology and surgical fields, we’re committed to sharing the life‑changing benefits of our products with those who need them most and to supporting the communities we work within.

This includes donating vital equipment to support international charity missions, funding life-changing technology to help people in our communities, supporting initiatives that reflect our values and raising vital funds for charities close to our hearts. 

A key part of this is giving our time. Every member of our team is encouraged to volunteer, with a combined total of more than 40 days allocated to doing so throughout the year. For 2026 we are working with two nominated charities: Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity and Surrey Hills.

Our environment

We’re continuing to strengthen DP Medical’s environmental performance through a range of ambitious, organisation‑wide sustainability initiatives. A major part of this work has been the introduction of our ISO 14001‑based environmental management system, which helps us drive consistent and measurable improvements across the business. We’ve also introduced new sustainable office practices, from an updated waste‑reduction strategy to a successful shift towards paperless operations, all backed by improved recycling processes.

Beyond our offices, we’re committed to reducing DP Medical’s wider environmental footprint. This includes a full review of our vehicle fleet as we work towards replacing carbon‑fuelled vehicles with greener alternatives and achieving a 50% green‑vehicle ratio by the end of 2025. We’re also strengthening our procurement approach to ensure every supplier meets our high quality and environmental standards, embedding sustainability into every part of our supply chain.
