DP Medical supports NHS staff and patients with new installations

State-of-the-art equipment has been installed at Royal Bolton Hospital and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust by the DP Medical team.

Cutting-edge equipment to support medical staff and patients has been installed at hospitals in England and Northern Ireland by the DP Medical team.

Rob Hampson, Northern England & Scotland sales manager, oversaw an install of four G. Heinemann Medizintechnik replacement ENT MODULA treatment units at Royal Bolton Hospital.

The ENT department received the new units from the leading provider of ENT medical technology, as well as specially-designed ENT chairs and high-end Karl Kaps microscopes.

Rob said: “Sister Janie Benton who works at Royal Bolton Hospital was absolutely over the moon with the new equipment, which replaced equipment than was more than 20 years old.”

In addition, Thomas Cryan, sales and service manager at DP Medical Ireland, organised installation of a number of XION EndoFlex units throughout Belfast Health and Social Care Trust including in the stroke unit at the The Royal Victoria Hospital.

Easily manoeuvrable, the Endoflex is ideal for flexible endoscopy and swallowing diagnostic applications.

Rob Atkinson, managing director of DP Medical, said: “These were two important installations and we were pleased to provide this high-quality, technologically-advanced equipment.

“Our focus is on working with top equipment suppliers to support medical staff in providing the best possible care for their patients.”
