Meet the Team: Falak Hussain

Falak is based in our Chessington office and lives in Crawley, near Gatwick Airport. Falak started her career with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty for Animals (RSPCA) and has a love of animals that continues today:

Tell us a little about your career history:

My career began in finance at the RSPCA, followed by roles in the aviation and broadband sectors. These experiences have helped me develop strong financial skills across different industries, and I’m excited to bring that knowledge to support DP Medical’s ongoing success and growth.

What does your role at DP Medical involve?

I focus on the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting and contributing to enhancing the systems and processes. I work closely with the Finance Director to help strengthen our financial operations as DP Medical continues to grow.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Definitely the people – there’s a real family-like culture, where everyone is so supportive and looks out for each other. It creates a positive and collaborative environment that makes coming to work enjoyable and rewarding.

When you’re not at work, what do you get up to in your spare time?

Outside of work, I’m all about spending time with family and my fur babies. When I’m not with them, you’ll find me on my motorbike, it’s my favourite way to unwind!

And finally, tell us something not everyone knows about you…

I wasn’t born in the UK, I moved here when I was 14. It was a big adjustment at the time, but the experience has shaped who I am today.
